Isfahan’s
Takht-e
Foulad
will be
the
center
of the
Third
pre-congress
of
Isfahan
School
Conference
on
September
23.
As one
of the
largest
historical
cemeteries
in Iran,
Takht-e
Foulad
developed
after
Isfahan
was
appointed
as the
capital
of
Safavid
government.
The tomb
of
Dervish
Abdolmajid
Taleqani,
Mir-Fendereski
(a
philosopher
in
Safavid
era), a
plaster
inscription
with the
calligraphy
by
Mir-Emad
and the
tombs of
many
Iranian
thinkers
and
prominent
figures
are
based in
Takht-e
Foulad.
The
pre-congress
“Takht-e
Foulad
and the
Art of
Safavid
Period”
will be
held at
this
historical
place in
cooperation
of
Isfahan’s
Municipality,
Takht-e
Foulad
Historical-Cultural
and
Relgious
Complex
and the
Academy
of Arts.
This
pre-congress
aims to
introduce
and
consider
this
valuable
historical
treasure.
It must
be
pointed
out that
this
pre-congress
is in
line
with the
Grand
Isfahan
School
Conference
which
will be
held on
the next
December
10-14
and. The
scholars
may send
their
articles
to the
secretariat
of the
conference
by
October
