dialogue
with
maestro
Aqdashloo:
“Calligraphy
has
always
had a
high
status
in the
world of
the
Iranian
art, by
using
the
term,
Iranian
art I
don’t
mean to
emphasis
on a
national
topic
and
follow a
specific
intention.
Nevertheless,
I talk
of Iran
as part
of the
world of
Islam
which in
some
centuries
has been
the gem
of
Islamic
world
and
calligraphy.
Therefore,
such an
issue
demands
recognition,
and my
questions
from the
maestro
is a
starting
point
for such
a
recognition.”
