The Booklet of Iranian Calligraphy Will be Edited Alongside the Isfahan School Conference

Maestro Qulam-Hussein Amirkhani is to edit the analytical booklet of technical problems of calligraphy before the Isfahan School Conference.

As Reported by the Public Relations of the Academy of Arts and quoted from the secretariat of the congress, maestro Amirkhani has worked to edit the booklet in several years. He has managed to present technical and historical analysis as well as the modification process in the works of top calligraphy masters. The book considers the works of three maestros, Mir-Emad Hassani, Mirza Isfahani and Mirza Reza Kalhor. According to Amirkhani, the holding of the calligraphy congress at Isfahan School Conference has been one of the major incentives to finish his book.

With Qulam-Hussein Amirkhani as the scientific secretary, the congress will consider Iranian calligraphy in 1000-1135 A.H.

The Isfahan School Conference contains eight congresses including illustration, calligraphy, handicrafts, music, architecture, town planning, philosophical and artistic school and literature. The conference will be underway in the next December.

The scholars and writers may submit their articles in all related categories until October 7 (the middle of Mehr).
