Performing Dramatic Pieces Plus Theoric Discussions, a Program Announced by the Secretary of Drama Department of the Isfahan School Conference

"At the Isfahan School Conference some parts of various dramatic genres will be performed in the format of eight dramatic pieces," said Tajbakhsh Fana'eian, the Secretary of Drama Department of the Isfahan School Conference who also is a university teacher of dramatic arts.

He added: "The drama artists are not that much concerned for research and theoric studies, therefore we preferred to convey some researches prepared by drama department in the format of these dramatic pieces.

"We have already received 26 abstracts of articles or title of articles, but finally we will select those which can pave the way for the future of our dramatic arts," Fana'eian stated.

Among the dramatic genres which flourished in Safavid Era are: Tazia, Arcade play (Ma'erkehgiri), Epical Narration (Naqali) and Puppetry (Lo'abatbazi). The Department of Dramatic Arts of the Isfahan School Conference will consider all these dramatic genres.
