On
the
occasion
of
Isfahan
School
Conference,
A
precious
version
of
Qur'an
calligraphed
by the
great
artist
of
Safavid
era,
Ali-Reza
Abbasi
will be
printed.
Reported
by the
Public
Relations
of the
Academy
of Arts,
quoting
from the
secretariat
of the
conference,
this
version
is to be
published
as a
scholarly
work
with the
cooperation
of the
Academy
of Arts
and
Astan-e
Qods
Razvi
Museum.
A
faculty
member
of the
Academy
of Arts
and
supreme
member
of
Isfahan
School
Conference,
Dr.
Muhammad-Mahdi
Harati
is in
charge
of
implementing
the
project.
Supplemented
by
analysis
and
indications
to
Ali-Reza
Abbasi's
techniques,
the
manuscript
will be
printed
before
Isfahan
School
Conference
kicks
off.
Among
the

are
masters
like
Aideen
Aqdashloo,
Dr.
Rajabi
and
manuscript
connoisseurs
like

In terms
of
calligraphic
style
and
combinations,
the
version
of
Ali-Reza
Abbasi
has some
unique
features.
Also for
the
first
time,
the
calligrapher
has set
a
particular
association
between
the
meanings
of
verses
and
their
writing
style.
Thus he
has
written
some
parts
with ink
and some
others
with
gold
plate.
The
pages of
this
version
of holy
Qur'an
are
nearly
800
hundred
and the
academy
intends
to
publish
the work
in 114
pages. |
