Kerman's Art in Safavid Era to be Considered in Parallel with Isfahan School Conference

The Islamic Republic of Iran's Academy of Arts will hold a congress titled "Kerman's Art in Safavid Era" in Kerman city which is in line with the Isfahan School Grand Conference.

Reported by the Public Relations of the Academy of Arts quoting from the secretariat of the conference, as the twelfth pre-congress of Isfahan School Conference, this program will be underway at Shahid Bahonar University in Kerman on Tuesday, November 28.

At this one-day scholarly session the chairman of Shahid Bahonar University, Dr. Ahmad Amir-Khorasani; the secretary of the Academy of Arts, Dr. Bahman Namvar Motlaq and a number of masters and scholars will attend and will present their specialized and scholarly articles.

At the first part of the session Davood Fath-Ali Baigi presents his article "The Influence of Rozat-al Shohada on the Versions of Ta'zyeh", Mir-Hashem Mohaddes' article titled "The Artists of Safavid Era in the Mirror of 'Khold Barin'" and Ali-Reza Hasheminezhad introduces "The Aesthetic Analysis of Calligraphic Inscriptions in Kerman of Safavid Period." Other masters who participate at the pre-congress include: Mahdi Makinezhad, Fariba Kermani, Mohsen Keshavarz, Shams-el Din Najmi, Touraj Zhouleh, Hanieh Nik-Khah and Hassan Salajeqe will present their various scholarly articles at the second part of the session.

It must be noted that Kerman pre-congress is the last one before the Isfahan School Conference and the main conference will be underway on December 10-14.
