On
Monday,
November
27, the
13th
Pre-congress
of
Isfahan
School
titled,
"The
Consideration
of Feqhi
(of
Islamic
Jurisprudence)
and
Hadisi
(of
Islamic
Tradition)
Ideas on
Isfahan
Philosophical-Artistic
School"
went
underway
at
Shahid
Beheshti
Hall of
Imam
Sadeq
(S)
University.
Reported
by the
Public
Relations
of the
Academy
of Arts,
at first
the
director
of
Research
Center
at Imam
Sadeq
(S)
University,
Dr. Reza
Akbari
welcomed
the
attendants
and
pointed
to the
scarcity
of such
congresses
in the
field of
culture
and art
while
appreciated
the
Academy
of Arts
for
holding
the
session.
Then the
secretary
of the
Academy
of Arts,
Dr.
Bahman
Namvar
Motlaq
reciprocally
expressed
his
gratitude
to the
directors
of Imam
Sadeq
(S)
University
called
the
university
as a
university
with
double
aspect
and
said:
"
As well
as
knowledge,
Imam
Sadeq
(S)
University
takes
advantage
of its
experience.
The
university
gave
tremendous
support
to us
for
holding
the
pre-congress."
He
announced
that the
Ministry
of
Culture
and
Islamic
Guidance
has
agreed
for
initiation
of a
course
titled,
"Feqhi
Art"
and
noted,
"If
we would
be
unable
provide
the
ground
for the
interaction
of Feqh,
art and
wisdom,
we will
confront
an
impasse."
In the
midst of
enthusiastic
attendance
of Imam
Sadeq
(S)
University
students,
Hojat-ol
Islam
Seyyed
Hassan
Saadat
Mustafavi
followed
the
session
with an
abstract
from his
article
titled,
"Love
and its
relation
with
Beauty."
Next,
Dr.
Ahmad
Pakatchi
lectured
on
"The
Concept
of Art
in Feqhi
Discussions
of
Safavid
Era."
He
regarded
the role
played
by the
Foqaha
in that
era as
prominent
and
important
and
introduced
evidences
which
show
that the
art of
those
days
served
Foqaha
to reach
a more
sublime
expression.
He
elaborated
on the
distinction
of
Foqaha
in
Safavid
era
which
based on
artistic
flourishing
and
revisions
of some
religious
decrees
made by
Foqaha.
Pakatchi
indicated
to
Allameh
Faiz
Kashani
and
Moqadas
Ardabili
and
observed
the
problem
of
abomination
of
design
on the
cloth,
carpet
and
space
around
the
praying
person
from the
view of
Foqaha
at that
era.
The
third
lecturer
of
Isfahan
School
pre-congress
was Dr.
Ebrahim
Fayyaz
who made
a speech
on
"Originality
of
Isfahan
Architectural
Existence"
and
began
with
comparing
Seljuk
architecture
with
Safavid
architecture.
"Safavid
architecture
is a
particular
form of
architecture
beginning
from
Seljuk
era and
reaches
to its
culmination
in
Masjid-e
Imam
(previously
Masjid-e
Shah) of
Isfahan
in
Safavid
era,"
he said.
Fayyaz
pointed
to domed
ceilings
and
generally
abundant
usage of
circles
and
curves
in
Isfahan
architecture,
then
regarded
the
tendency
as a
sign of
philosophy
of that
era when
plurality
transforms
to
unity.
"In
Safavid
era the
angular
and
sharp
lines of
Achaemenids
era was
replaced
by
circles
and
curves.
As a
matter
of fact
the
originality
of
existence
replaced
the
originality
of
essence,"
he
stated.
"The
Concept
and
Referent
of
Lyrics,
an
Introduction
to
Realizing
Custom
in
Topical
Discussions
of
Shiite
Philosophy"
was the
title of
an
article
by Dr.
Sa'eed
Mahdavi
Kani who
made the
last
speech
of the
session.
He
observed
the
lexical
and
customary
discussion
on
lyrics
in
Safavid
era and
explained
that
Foqaha
took a
new
position
toward
custom
at that
era.
"We
at least
can say
in a way
that at
that
time
custom
as one
of the
basis of
feqhe
went
under
consideration,
even if
we don't
want to
admit
that
"the
Customary
Feqhe"
established
at that
era.
The 13th
pre-congress
of
Isfahan
School
came to
an end,
while is
to be
followed
by a
forthcoming
session
in
Ardabil. |
